The water problem in the South of Europe Scientists find about a quarter million invisible microplastic particles in a liter of bottled water ! This means we are slowly poisoning ourselves because plastic does not leave our body. The average liter of bottled water has nearly a quarter million invisible pieces of ever so tiny nanoplastics, detected and categorized for the first time by a microscope using dual lasers. The world “is drowning under the weight of plastic pollution, with more than 430 million tonnes of plastic produced annually” and microplastics found in the world’s oceans, food and drinking water. After polluting the earth, we now seem to pollute ourselves thinking to drink healthy water !
